Prepare your first production batch
- Open TransferBatch from your installed apps in Shopify admin and check your plan in Billing.
- In Artwork, upload an original transparent PNG and connect it to the correct product variant. Enter its full-frame print width and height, including transparent padding. Repeat for each design and size.
- Refresh Production. Select eligible paid, open and fully unfulfilled order lines. Resolve any hold before continuing.
- Set your roll width, maximum sheet length, margins and gap. Select the sRGB option only when you know untagged originals are sRGB. Prepare the batch.
- When processing finishes, review the preview, counts and dimensions. Refresh source orders, then issue the production files.
- Download the production PNG, copy map and manifest. Import the PNG at 300 PPI into your RIP and check your printer settings. The screen preview is reduced for display.
Supported artwork and orders
The current workflow supports original PNGs up to 100 MiB each, explicit print dimensions, rectangular packing and optional right-angle rotation. It does not upscale artwork. A batch can contain up to 100 order lines and 1,000 copies, within rendering and storage limits. It prepares files; it does not print, ship or mark Shopify orders fulfilled.
Start with ordinary individual-transfer variants. Bundles, subscriptions, personalized line attributes, refunds, partial fulfillment and other ambiguous cases may be held for review. Production dimensions are never inferred from product thumbnails.
Common questions
Why is an order held? Check the displayed reason, payment and fulfillment status, artwork mapping and current plan. Refresh orders after a change. If the reason remains unclear, contact support before printing.
Can I download again? Repeat downloads of retained issued files do not consume another copy allowance. An intentional reprint is separate production and requires a reason.
Are colors guaranteed? No. Printer, ink, film and RIP settings affect physical output. Check the output in your own production workflow before relying on it.
How does billing work? Shopify presents and manages your subscription. Paid allowances reset by UTC calendar month; Shopify charges on its displayed subscription cycle. The Billing screen shows access and usage. Uninstalling is different from deleting retained data; see Privacy.
